Being ourselves in the world we co-create and live in is an on-going act of bravery, resistance, resilience and self-love

In today’s world and particularly, in North-American culture, we share spaces where time moves swiftly, demands are high, and we are constantly bombarded by information, opinions, and quick-fix solutions. These cultural distractions often make it difficult to feel in charge of our lives and ourselves. In such a climate, the mind is often prioritized over the body, thought deemed more powerful than emotion or feeling, leaving us disconnected from ourselves and from the fullness of experiences with the world around us.

I have been captivated by and in awe of human experience - the vastness and depths, the magic and the grief of Life.

I believe in creating collaborative spaces where together we can explore, grow, and discover new ways of being in the world.

Trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Philosophy at Gestalt Institute of Toronto, I offer a gentle, honest and compassionate container to explore your experiences and how they shape you. Together we will create somatic, humanistic, body-wise frameworks to support your unique needs in wholesome and holistically integrative ways.

My deepest desire as a therapist is to teach/transfer to you real tools and techniques that can create feelings of spaciousness in your breath, heart, headspace, and awareness, that help you create new patterns and therefore, new experiences you might be looking for.

  • Gestalt psychotherapy takes a path, that embraces a person’s whole experience. It is a holistic, embodied, and relational practice that allows us to explore how we make sense of what we see, hear and feel not only in our thoughts, but in the sensations of our bodies and the emotions we hold.

Gestalt therapy is not about finding quick answers or solutions. It is an exploration, grounded in curiosity and presence. In our work together, we pay close attention to your experience—as it arises in thoughts, emotions, and sensations—and to the relational field that connects us in the here and now.

  • Payment is required at the end of each therapy session via e-transfer.

  • Many benefit plans cover the cost (or a portion) of therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Gestalt Psychotherapy usually is covered by most insurance providers. Contact your benefits provider for more information on your coverage, including benefits renewal date and total cost covered.

  • In order to maximize the effectiveness of therapy, clients should make attending sessions a priority and are encouraged to avoid cancelling sessions except in the case of illness or emergencies. Session fees will be applied for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. There is an understanding that unforeseen circumstances occur and in these particular situations waiving the fee will be considered.

  • Please note that I do not provide crisis services. If you are experiencing a crisis please phone Crisis Services Canada at 1-833-456-4566 or the Distress Centre Helpline at 1-416-408-HELP (4357) or text 741741. In the case of an emergency, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest hospital emergency department.
